Users have the flexibility to customize session duration, tension and relaxation phases, and exercise repetitions. The app accommodates sessions ranging from brief 3-minute exercises to extended half-hour relaxation programs.

Featuring various soothing voices, the app supports users with different preferences. Beginners benefit from detailed exercise explanations and visual demonstrations, while advanced users can minimize announcements. Users can also play music during sessions for added relaxation.

The app aims to be inclusive for visually impaired users through compatibility with VoiceOver. Feedback from visually impaired users would help refine accessibility features.

Progressive muscle relaxation, pioneered by Edmund Jacobson, aids in reducing muscle tension by alternating between tensing and relaxing muscle groups. This technique enhances body awareness, decreasing muscle tension over time and alleviating physical symptoms like palpitations and pain.

PMR is widely used in behavioral therapy for conditions such as anxiety disorders and hypertension. It has shown effectiveness in managing headaches, migraines, back pain, sleep disturbances, and stress.

Initial sessions are complimentary, while later access may involve a subscription model or ad-supported usage. Subscriptions are not auto-renewed, ensuring user control over purchasing data management by the Apple App Store. Opting for ads allows third-party providers to gather data as stipulated in Google's privacy policy.
